Job Summary:
We are recruiting an experienced Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Heathfield, Newton Abbot. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive hourly rate and regular weekday working hours — perfect for someone looking for stability in a well-established business.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Fabricate components from engineering drawings
- Operate standard workshop machinery and hand tools
- Complete bespoke and batch production work to a high standard
- Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a welder/fabricator
- Confident with MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Able to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
