Imperial Recruitment Group is proud to be working in partnership with INEOS, a global manufacturer with a strong presence in the Northeast, to recruit a Management Accountant for their Newton Aycliffe site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant to join a high-performing finance team within a world-leading organisation. The role offers broad exposure across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead month-end close including journals, revaluations, accruals, and inventory processes
Maintain intercompany accounts and support group consolidation reporting (Hyperion Financial Management)
Manage fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure tracking
Produce accurate balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
Assist with daily cash flow, forecasting, and treasury reporting
Review product costing and support procurement with variance analysis
Report on fixed costs and support forecasting and budget processes
Support year-end audits and statutory reporting
Ensure timely and accurate compliance submissions (VAT, ONS, Intrastat)
Provide support for transactional finance activities as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Minimum 3 years’ finance experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Strong ERP and Microsoft Excel skills
High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking
Effective communicator, confident working with cross-functional teams
German language skills are a bonus but not required
