Imperial Recruitment Group is proud to be working in partnership with INEOS, a global manufacturer with a strong presence in the Northeast, to recruit a Management Accountant for their Newton Aycliffe site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant to join a high-performing finance team within a world-leading organisation. The role offers broad exposure across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead month-end close including journals, revaluations, accruals, and inventory processes
  • Maintain intercompany accounts and support group consolidation reporting (Hyperion Financial Management)
  • Manage fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure tracking
  • Produce accurate balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Assist with daily cash flow, forecasting, and treasury reporting
  • Review product costing and support procurement with variance analysis
  • Report on fixed costs and support forecasting and budget processes
  • Support year-end audits and statutory reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance submissions (VAT, ONS, Intrastat)
  • Provide support for transactional finance activities as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Minimum 3 years’ finance experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong ERP and Microsoft Excel skills
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking
  • Effective communicator, confident working with cross-functional teams
  • German language skills are a bonus but not required
