Your new companyAre you a hands-on Management Accountant looking to make a real impact in a dynamic, owner-managed business? On behalf of our client I am looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of the financial processes and help drive informed decision-making.Your new roleAs the on-site Management Accountant you will play a key role in the business, working closely with the Directors:-
- Producing monthly management accounts (MMA) with insightful commentary
- Preparing and presenting flash accounts to support strategic planning
- Managing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
- Overseeing weekly and monthly payroll processes
- Using Sage 50 & Excel for all accounts processing and reporting
- Supporting the owner with ad hoc financial analysis and business planning
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant role
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
- Excellent understanding of VAT, payroll, and management accounts preparation
- A self-starter with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail
- Ideally part-qualified or qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) - but it's really the experience counts!
