- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, presses, or automated systems according to production specifications and safety protocols.
- Load raw materials (e.g., metal, plastic, or composite parts) into machines and unload finished components for further processing or packaging.
- Follow production schedules, blueprints, or verbal instructions to ensure efficient machine operation and timely order completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of in-process and finished parts using measuring tools to ensure products meet quality standards. Report defects and assist in corrective actions.
- Detect minor faults or malfunctions, perform basic adjustments, and escalate more complex issues to maintenance or supervisory staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Work closely with team members, shift leaders, and supervisors to meet daily production goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform basic data entry to track production counts, downtime, or material usage in the manufacturing system.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally operating industrial machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, or work orders
- Familiarity with quality control tools and inspection methods
- Basic computer proficiency for data input and equipment interface use
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to lift, move, and position materials and products as needed
