Baltic Recruitment is seeking a Toolroom Technician for a leading manufacturing business.
The role includes responsibilities such as managing the tooling workshop, operating manual machinery, and maintaining tooling databases.
Candidates should have experience in production tooling and be able to assist with production trials and improvements.
The position offers a salary range of £38,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, along with a 2 shift pattern working schedule.

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a market leading manufacturing business with their search for a Toolroom Technician.

Key Duties:

Full responsibility for the tooling workshop (5s, housekeeping etc.)
Keep all Production tooling in an acceptable state of repair.
Operating manual lathe and milling machinery.
Monitor/maintain key spares (tooling).
Keep all the tooling database up to date.
Work with production to help improve the productivity and efficiency of extrusion profiles.
Assist with production running and tooling trials.
Support all tooling changes, cleaning and maintenance whilst on shift.
Carry out Schedule of TPMs.
Develop new and replacement tooling.
Assist and run production and tooling trials.
Manufacture any bespoke tooling required.
