Senior Maintenance Technician (Continental Shifts)
Location: Newton Aycliffe
Salary: £52,582.50 (Inc. 35% Shift Allowance)
Job Type: Full-time | 12-hour continental shifts (days and nights)

An established manufacturing company based in Newton Aycliffe is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime through both reactive and preventative maintenance.

Opportunities are available across multiple technician levels, from entry-level to senior roles, with progression tied to technical ability, experience, and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly.

  • Perform planned maintenance in line with schedules.

  • Support and mentor junior technicians and apprentices.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimise equipment performance.


Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to equipment reliability.
