Imperial Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Newton Aycliffe, specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of industrial kitchen solutions. We are seeking an experiencedWarehouse Managerto lead and optimise warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of warehouse operations, including goods inwards, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse supervisors and operatives
  • Drive warehouse optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures
  • Manage stock accuracy, inventory control, and space utilisation
  • Coordinate with production, transport, and senior management to meet business objectives
  • Monitor KPIs, productivity, and performance standards

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management role, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Forklift licence and hands-on forklift experience
  • Solid health & safety background with demonstrable compliance knowledge
  • Experience in warehouse optimisation and process improvement (desirable)
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • IT literate with experience using warehouse or stock management systems
