Manufacturing Engineer

The role

An opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Engineering and Design Team.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all processes and tooling are in place and proven for parts and products manufactured by the business.

Utilising your in-depth experience of engineering manufacturing processes, you will ensure that new products can be successfully translated from initial conceptual design, prototype and early-stage manufacture into volume production.

You will be required to organise the manufacturing workflows and resources.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate manufacturing engineering experience within a similar role and hold a degree in engineering or a related field.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool design is essential.

You will have an excellent knowledge of design visualisation software such as CAD/CAM, MS Office.

You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and have the capability of handling several projects simultaneously.

The ability to understand a wide range of technical issues and demonstrate a general knowledge of all aspects of the development process is required.
