Position Details:
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Location: 3M Aycliffe
- Pay Rate: 21.96 per hour
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
- Duration: 6 months, with potential for ongoing work
- Start Date: June 2nd
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our site machinery running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned maintenance on site machinery
- Diagnosing faults and performing repair work
- optimising machine performance while adhering to safety and quality standards
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in engineering within a manufacturing process, particularly with:
- PLCs
- Injection moulding
- Web handling
- High-speed packaging
Your Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management capabilities
- Experience in planned and reactive maintenance
- A disciplined approach to either electrical or mechanical engineering
Education Requirements:
You should have an NVQ, ONC, HNC, or an equivalent qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
