Then this role as Customer Account Manager based within Speedy Hire’s Head Office in Newton Le Willows could be a great fit.  Although you are based within Speedy, you will be working for one of their key suppliers of Plant Hire, managing the business transactions between the Speedy and my client, ensuring an excellent service is provided and the ongoing business relationship between both parties is strengthened.
You will be responsible for building great rapport with your customers, managing customer calls, from initial enquiry through to delivery of equipment, alongside completing all administrative tasks, ensuring all orders are input into the system accurately and queries are resolved efficiently. It is important that you understand the customers' needs by asking relevant questions and use the opportunity to upsell, or uncover future plans.Â
The ideal candidate should have:
- A background in customer service or internal sales - ideally within the hire industry
- Experience of dealing with customers in a busy environment and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills – both telephone and face to face, with the ability to develop relationships with both internal and external customer
- Great admin skills with strong attention to detail.Â
- Good level of IT literacy
