Draughtsperson required for a growing manufacturer based in Newtown. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to play an integral role within a friendly team.
The successful candidate will need experience working AutoCAD and will have experience working on the design of structural steel or building projects. Candidates from any related industry are encouraged to apply.
Working closely with the Company Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for using AutoCAD to create 2D detailed designs and plans of architectural and structural projects. This will also involve working on projects related to staircases, railings and balconies.
The Draughtsperson Role:
· Use of AutoCAD to create 2D detailed designs
· Working on structural steel projects, balconies, staircases etc.
· Occasional site visits for surveys – approx. twice per month (usually within 1-1.5-hour radius)
The Draughtsperson Candidate:
· Experience using AutoCAD
· Any background related to buildings, structural steel, construction etc.
