IT Support (Temporary Position)

Start Date: July 2025Location: Fully office based in NewtownabbeyHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm(Shift patterns include 8:00am-4:00pm, 8:30am-4:30pm, and 9:00am-5:00pm)Contract Length: 3-5 monthsTraining: 2-week training and induction period providedAnnual Leave: No extensive leave permitted during July, August, and September (peak period)

About the Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our clients team as IT Support Analysts on a temporary basis. You will be supporting and assisting Schools, Colleges, and Educational establishments across Northern Ireland as they return from summer holidays and experience IT-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer queries and IT issues via telephone, email, and customer portal
  • Log incidents and service requests accurately and efficiently
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to every caller
  • Keep customers informed on the status of their issue or request
  • Manage and prioritise your own workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • Follow internal company policies, procedures, and service standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven ability to handle and resolve a high volume of incoming calls
  • Experience making outbound follow-up calls
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service mindset and experience in customer-facing roles
  • Comfortable working on the telephone with customers
  • A keen interest or curiosity in IT - ideal for those looking to kickstart a career in IT
