Accounting & Reporting Manager – Lincolnshire – £50,000

We are working with a progressive and ambitious business in Lincolnshire that is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Manager to join their finance team. This is a permanent role, reporting directly to the Financial Controller, and will suit someone who thrives in a varied position covering month-end, statutory accounts, treasury, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Managing the general ledger, statutory accounts, and internal controls.
  • Overseeing fixed asset capitalisation and implementing effective CapEx controls.
  • Preparing corporation tax returns in collaboration with the group tax team.
  • Taking responsibility for treasury, including cash reconciliations and cashflow management.
  • Partnering with business units on central costs, driving efficiency and supporting decision-making.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for auditors and contributing to special projects.
  • Deputising for the Financial Controller when required.

What Are They Looking For?

  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with experience in accounting and reporting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, statutory accounts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent Excel skills, with experience using ERP systems, are an advantage.
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
  • A proactive, detail-focused individual who can manage deadlines and suggest improvements.
