Accounts Assistant| £25,000 - £28,000 | 9 Month Maternity Cover| Normanton

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a growing organisation based in Normanton who are seeking an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join their team on a FTC basis. This would be the perfect role for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a supportive and friendly finance team.

They are offering a salary of c.£25,000 to £28,000 (DOE). The role also boasts a range of exceptional benefits including an attractive company pension scheme, free onsite car parking, regular salary reviews in line with performance.

Duties:

  • Process supplier payments and customer receipts
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Matching, batching, and coding a high volume of invoices.
  • Managing purchase ledger activities, ensuring timely approval of purchase invoices.
  • Credit control activities, including regularly liaising with customers in order to collect outstanding payment for invoices.
  • Processing of staff expenses and assisting with the reconciliation of company card statements

The Person:

  • You will have experience working within a similar function
  • An excellent phone manner and communication skills
  • The ability to work proactively independently and part of team
