- Internal Account Manager
- Salary: £24,000 with commission £5,000 annually
- Based: Normanton, site-based role
- Hours: 9am - 5.30pm
- Permanent role.
Your new roleThe Internal Account Manager will provide high-level service to both potential and existing customers, aiming to increase sales, expand product lines, enhance profitability, and develop lasting business relationships. This role involves proactive telesales calls to develop new business and maximise sales.
- Develop new business through prospecting and outbound telesales activities.
- Identify opportunities to quote and send proposals promptly.
- Increase the range of products sold to each customer.
- Utilise sales tools effectively to maximise customer potential and spend.
- Achieve initial gross profit margin targets.
- Meet new business sales targets.
- Increase sales by an agreed percentage with existing customers.
- Maintain up-to-date computerised records.
- Follow and achieve weekly and monthly objectives.
- Support marketing campaigns and outbound promotions to maximise take-up
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is beneficial.
- Proficiency in accurately pricing and maximising profitability while protecting gross profit margins.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to multitask, organise, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability to change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of customer base, customer needs, and sales cycle is advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge of products, competitors, and dealer networks is desirable.
