Futures Recruitment are partnering with a rapidly expanding, innovative manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager. This is a pivotal role for an accomplished professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-value project environment and has a proven ability to deliver complex manufacturing projects from initial brief through to final handover.

The successful Senior Project Manager will demonstrate a strong track record in managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring that all are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will act as the central point of contact for clients, internal teams, and suppliers, driving clear communication, ensuring expectations are met, and mitigating risks before they impact delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Leadership – Manage the full project lifecycle, from initial scoping and concept development, through design, production, installation, and final handover, ensuring clear milestones and deliverables are met.

• Technical & Production Documentation – Prepare and oversee detailed manufacturing drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company’s production systems and quality standards.

• Stakeholder Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring regular progress updates, transparent communication, and swift resolution of challenges.

• Production & Scheduling Oversight – Work closely with the production team to coordinate schedules, monitor progress against deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of each project phase without compromising quality.

• Compliance & Safety Management – Ensure all project documentation meets relevant contractual, Health & Safety, site safety, and O&M (Operation & Maintenance) requirements, with accurate record-keeping at every stage.

• Commercial Awareness – Collaborate with the estimating and commercial teams to ensure projects remain financially viable, with effective cost control, budget tracking, and profitability analysis.

• Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to enhance processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen customer satisfaction, feeding lessons learned back into future project planning.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

• Strong ability to manage multiple high-value, complex projects simultaneously.

• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

• Strong commercial understanding of project delivery, contract management, and estimating.

• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and similar project management tools.

• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and HSE compliance.

• Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
