The salary for this position ranges from £50,000 to £60,000, along with an enhanced pension and generous holiday benefits.
The role involves overseeing financial processes, team management, and promoting strong financial controls while reporting directly to the FD.

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business in West Yorkshire that’s looking for a technically capable Finance Manager to lead their site-based finance function.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to operations and adding value through good data, systems and insight. The role is based on site in West Yorkshire and reports into the FD, with one day work from home offered.This is a broad and hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of reporting, controls, and team management, playing a key part in supporting operational and commercial performance.The role will involve:

Leading the month-end process including management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
Producing detailed margin and costing reports to support strategic decisions
Overseeing Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Payroll functions, with the support of a small team
Managing GRNI and supplier invoice processing, ensuring accurate cut-offs
Working closely with IT to maximise the use and reporting capability of the ERP system
Preparing for the annual audit and submitting the tax pack
Promoting strong financial control and process integrity across the function

Package details:

£50,000 - £60,000
