National Sales Manager - Air & Sea Freight
Salary: Up to 80,000 + comprehensive package + Enhanced Commission Structure
Location: National (Hybrid / Remote, reporting into HQ in Yorkshire)

The Opportunity

We're seeking a high-performing National Sales Manager / BDM to spearhead new business development and build long-term client relationships within Pharma, FMCG, Fashion, and Retail markets. With no restrictions on territory, this role offers exceptional earning potential and the chance to establish and lead a commercial sales team.

This position offers full autonomy working remotely and out in the field meeting new and existing clients. You will report into the CEO periodically providing clear visibility of your work and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business sales in air and sea freight services across a broad national market.
  • Consistently deliver results, achieving a minimum of 2.5x salary coverage in new revenue.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in target verticals.
  • Work towards building and leading a commercial sales team, shaping future business growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and report directly to the CEO, influencing sales strategy and market positioning.

About You

  • A proven sales hunter with a strong track record in freight forwarding (air & sea).
  • Demonstrate clear sales revenue and gross profit performance against agreed targets.
  • Experienced in targeting and winning business with Pharma, FMCG, Fashion, or Retail clients.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and motivated by autonomy and ownership of a national sales remit.
  • Confident communicator with the drive to influence at senior stakeholder level.
