Our client is part of a global brand and due to continued growth, they need a print estimator to provide the technical expertise to account managers, liaise with internal production and external suppliers on their full suite of print that is distributed nationally and worldwide for some clients.

Managing the process of each print job is the focus, this includes everything from processing internally, supplier management, updating internal sales team and agreeing lead times, estimates on cost and follow through to final dispatch.

This is a key role which supports the sales team and knowledge of print and print production is essential. This role is full time 8am until 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am until 2pm on Fridays.

Duties to include:

  • To provide technical support to the Client Services Team,  Commercial Team, Production Team and Business Development Team.
  • Provide estimates that include an outwork process or are fully traded
  • Manage through production, agreeing lead times, ensuring the jobs are dispatched on time and delivered back on time
  • Reporting issues to the relevant departments
  • Supplier Management, keeping supplier lists up to date
  • Work with the management team and the Systems and Business Improvements Manager to improve processes where possible.
  • Proactively seek out improvements to processes, supplier base and cost management
  • NCR Prevention – Provide technical advice on jobs entered by Client Services team to make sure job bags are technically planned correctly prior to being passed to production.
  • Review production performance against estimate and make recommendations concerning variances.
  • Liaise with warehouse whilst processing orders, checking re stock levels, shipping requirements, booking in product, proof of deliveries
