We are seeking an Electrical Team Leader to oversee our electrical engineering operations. This role is ideally suited to an individual with a background in industrial manufacturing settings and the ability to provide strong leadership.

Description

  • Supervise the electrical department's daily operations within the manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure all electrical equipment is maintained to an appropriate standard.
  • Lead and develop a team of skilled electrical shift technicians (circa 7 heads), promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee project planning and management for electrical upgrades and installations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall organisational objectives.
  • Adhere to safety and compliance standards, and ensure team compliance.
  • Support the development of operational budgets within the electrical department.
  • Manage contractor relationships and oversee outsourced electrical work.

Profile

A successful Electrical Team Leader should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in a leadership role within an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.
