Role Purpose
The Machinist ensures the smooth operation of machines within the cell, delivering high-quality components on time, while maintaining workplace organisation and supporting production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- The CNC Machinist will operate and maintain machinery (turning, milling, grinding) within the cell.
- Ensure components consistently meet required quality standards.
- Deliver products On Time In Full (OTIF).
- Perform inspection duties on relevant features where identified.
- Support setting and maintaining optimum running conditions.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
- The CNC Machinist will need a minimum of 2 years’ experience in CNC Turning/Milling.
- Proficient in the use of standard measuring equipment.
- Background in engineering and/or manufacturing.
- Strong numeric skills.
Hours of Work
A Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 1:35pm
- Friday: 6:00am – 12:45pm (No Premium)
B Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 1:25pm – 9:05pm
- Friday: 12:35pm – 7:00pm (10% Premium)
Overtime available when required.
