Our client on the outskirts of Lincoln is looking for a Product Transfer Operative. In the Product Transfer Operative role you will be responsible for the effective transfer of product from the production process to packing. In this role you will also assist the mill in raw material transfers and will also provide cover for waste management. The nature of this role means other elements of support to areas of the factory will be required from time to time.
Key Duties of Product Transfer Operative:
- Traceability of product including quantities
- Purge of product to prevent cross contamination.
- Follow the production plan to fit the correct size mesh screens to the Mogensen sieves as according to the matrix for these meshes per product.
- At the end of each production run, collect ALL regrind collection bins and totes and collate into coded regrind totes
- As a FLT driver assist with other areas as and when required including raw material transfers into the mill.
Requirements for Product Transfer Operative:
- FLT License or willing to train
- Manufacturing background (Food Production is advantageous)
- Awareness of BRC and Food Safety
- IOSH Working Safely
- Can do attitude
- Team player
- Open to change and willing to learn
Pay is 12.64 per hour
Hours are on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern doing rotating shifts of days (6am to 6pm) and nights (6pm to 6am).
Own Transport required due to location.
