Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Holt Automotive is currently recruiting for a skilled Auto Electrician to join a leading team based in North Shields. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual looking to join a stable and growing business offering long-term career prospects and a competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on a wide range of vehicles, including buses and commercial vehicles
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and components
- Work with various vehicle systems including lighting, alarms, immobilisers, CCTV, and telematics
- Use diagnostic tools and schematics to troubleshoot faults
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality
- Complete relevant documentation accurately
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, ideally in the PSV or commercial vehicle sector
- Relevant qualifications in Auto Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid UK driving licence (preferred)
