The Role
This is a challenging and rewarding role for someone with a passion for customer service and sales.
The customer service representative will be responsible for dealing with customers via telephone, processing orders, informing customers of order status, and delivering the highest level of service to an industrial customer base.
Key Responsibilities
Deal with incoming phone calls and emails, taking appropriate action
Provide quotations by email to customer requirements in line with agreed KPIs where applicable.
Enter customer orders on ERP system according to Company standards and send an acknowledgement.
Use excellent listening skills to ensure full understanding of customer's requirements and satisfy them in line with the customer's expectations and business requirements.
Develop good rapport and business relationships with key customer contacts to understand their specific requirements.

The Person
The ideal candidate will have the following experience
Previous experience in a Customer Service role
Ability to build relationships at all levels
Demonstrable negotiating skills
Positive Can Do attitude
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Commitment to work to deadlines
Thorough working knowledge of JDE or equivalent CRM with the ability to process orders and quotations
PC literate in Powerpoint, Word & Excel
Experience working in an Engineering environment is desirable but not essential
