Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Contract Officer for a 12-month fixed-term position with a public sector organization.
This hybrid role requires 1-2 days a week on-site and involves managing low-value tenders and procurement strategies.
The ideal candidate should have public or private sector procurement experience and demonstrate leadership in managing procurement projects.
Knowledge of procurement legislation and a CIPS qualification or equivalent experience is required.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience.

We are currently partnered with a public sector organisation to recruit a Senior Commercial Contract Officer on a 12 month fixed-term basis.

This is a hybrid role which will require 1-2 days a week on-site.

Role:

Carry out low-value, under-threshold tenders
Manage commercial and contract management strategies of spend
Develop and deliver procurement savings plans
Negotiate and influence stakeholders (internal and external) to deliver compliant contracts

Individual:

Public or Private sector procurement experience
Demonstrate experience of leading and managing procurement projects
Knowledge of Procurement legislation
CIPS or equivalent experience
