We are seeking an experienced Estates professional to lead the management of a diverse property portfolio within a public sector setting. Reporting to the Principal Estates Manager and working closely with Strategic Asset Management and Facilities teams, you will play a key role in implementing the Corporate Landlord model and delivering estate services in line with RICS and CIPFA standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the management of a complex property portfolio, ensuring compliance, safety, and sustainability.

Maximise rental income and manage commercial estates effectively.

Oversee acquisitions, disposals, asset valuations, and lease management.

Deliver key property-related projects and support asset management strategy development.

Line manage and mentor a small team of property professionals.

Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, supporting collaborative service delivery.

Contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and the continuous improvement of estate functions.
Requirements:

Proven experience in estate or property management within the public sector.

Strong understanding of property law, governance, and strategic asset planning.

Experience managing complex projects, budgets, and teams.
-
Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) preferred or working towards.
