We are currently looking for a Junior Network Engineer for a leading food manufacturing business in North Yorkshire. They are looking for a Junior Network Engineer to help provide a robust and secure network infrastructure to support the company's growth plans.
Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting network issues.
Help deploy and maintain network equipment essential to our operations.
Learn to implement connectivity solutions that support our business needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to support daily operations and ensure seamless network performance.
Contribute to the documentation of our network infrastructure and assist in researching new technologies.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
Strong desire to learn and grow in network technologies.
Interest in obtaining or currently pursuing CCNA certification.
Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
Enthusiasm for understanding Cisco networking.
Desire to learn about firewalls, VPN technologies, and virtualized environments.
