Workshop Service Engineer - Northallerton

We're seeking a proactive and skilled Workshop Service Engineer to join a reputable service team based in Northallerton. This workshop-based role involves the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of mechanical handling and lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain, and repair mechanical handling and lifting equipment

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Electrical Engineering background
  • Multi-skilled with hands-on experience in mechanical, hydraulic & DC electrical systems
  • Familiar with diagnostic tools and software
  • Confident using laptops, tablets, and smartphones for reporting and diagnostics
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Quality-focused with a proactive attitude to learning and improvement
  • Able to build trust and long-term rapport with customers
