The Heygate Group is seeking a qualified Accountant, ideal for newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA candidates or those qualified by experience (QBE).
This role involves preparing monthly management accounts, producing P&L statements for a subsidiary with over £250m in turnover, and supporting various internal departments.
The position is based in Bugbrooke, where you will join a friendly finance team of 15 in a stable, people-focused business.
The salary for this role ranges from £48,000 to £54,000, with additional benefits including 24 days of holiday and a contributory pension.

The Role - AccountantThis is a varied and hands-on accounting role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across different areas of finance and being part of a collaborative team. You’ll be responsible for key financial tasks for one of the group’s largest subsidiaries, with the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and internal projects.Accountant Key Responsibilities:

Preparing monthly management accounts
Producing the P&L for a £250m+ turnover subsidiary
Balance sheet reconciliations
VAT returns and quarter-end reporting
Financial analysis and reporting
Supporting internal departments with financial guidance
Involvement in system improvements and ad hoc projects

Newly Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Accountant or QBE (or qualified for a while)
Someone who enjoys producing a full set of accounts and working in a structured environment
A team player with a proactive, hands-on approach
Detail-oriented and comfortable with Excel
