Sonic Summary

We are seeking a part-time Assistant Accountant for a company located in Northampton.
The position requires 20 hours of work per week, spread over four days, and is office-based.
The role involves managing various accounting tasks, including reconciling bank statements and maintaining spreadsheets.
Candidates should be proactive and capable of managing their own workload, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.

We have been asked to recruit a part-time Assistant Accountant for a company based in Northampton.

*20 hours a week over 4 days, office based.

This is a stand-alone role where you’ll work closely with the Director ensuring the accounts department is running smoothly.

What they need is someone who is proactive and able to manage their own workload.

Below is a small overview of what you’ll be doing…

Reconciling bank statements (all companies)
Inputting and raising invoices in Xero
Maintaining spreadsheets for income, cashflow, internal transfers
Maintaining control accounts and intercompany reconciliation accounts
End of month manual adjustments/journals - alongside the external accountants
General administration
