An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Architectural Technician to join a dynamic and growing architectural practice in Northamptonshire. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of high-quality projects, from residential to commercial developments, providing a creative and collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior architects and designers to produce detailed technical drawings, models, and specifications. They will play an essential role in ensuring designs are translated into technical solutions that adhere to relevant standards and regulations, helping to deliver projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Assist in the development of designs, ensuring all technical aspects are thoroughly considered.
- Work within project teams to ensure the seamless delivery of projects within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to ensure the technical integrity of designs.
- Conduct site surveys and inspections to gather necessary information for project development.
- Stay up-to-date with building regulations, codes of practice, and industry trends.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Solid understanding of building regulations, construction techniques, and detailing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work within a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
- A relevant degree or qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
