Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: 37-45,000
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Architectural Technician to join a well-established and growing architectural practice based in Northamptonshire. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of high-quality projects across the residential and commercial sectors, within a collaborative and design-led studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction packages
- Support the design development process, ensuring technical viability and compliance
- Collaborate with internal project teams to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
- Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and statutory bodies
- Undertake site surveys and attend site inspections as required
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, industry standards, and best practice
Key Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a similar Architectural Technician role
- Degree or relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, and detailing
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, detail-focused, and solution-driven approach
