Salary: 38-44,000
An exciting opportunity is available for a talented and driven Architectural Technician to join a well-established, expanding architectural practice in Northamptonshire. This role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of high-quality residential and commercial projects within a collaborative, design-focused studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and full construction packages.
- Assist in design development, ensuring practicality, buildability, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with project teams to deliver projects on schedule and to a high standard.
- Liaise and coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities.
- Carry out site surveys and attend site inspections as required.
- Keep current with building regulations, industry standards, and emerging best practices.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in an Architectural Technician role.
- Degree or relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- Skilled in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, and detailing.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused mindset.
