Job Title: Commissioning Engineer (Contract)

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join a high-profile project on a client site in Northampton. This is a 6-month contract role outside IR35, requiring strong experience with Siemens PLCs (S7 and TIA Portal).
You will be responsible for commissioning control systems and working closely with suppliers to validate PLC interfaces. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in warehouse automation or baggage handling/intralogistics environments.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
- Commissioning of PLC-based control systems
- Supplier collaboration for PLC interface testing
- Background in warehouse automation or intralogistics (desirable)
- Available to work full-time on site in Northampton
