Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Location: Northampton

Salary: £28-34,000 (dependent on experience)

A well-established and highly regarded architectural practice is looking to welcome an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to its growing team in Northampton. With a diverse portfolio spanning residential, commercial, and public sector projects, the practice is known for its client-focused ethos and commitment to high design standards.

The role:

  • Supporting project leads across all RIBA stages, from early concept to completion
  • Producing design and technical drawings to a high standard
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors as part of a collaborative team
  • Assisting with project management tasks to help ensure delivery on time and within budget
  • Contributing to a positive studio environment and mentoring newer team members

Requirements:

  • Significant experience post-Part 2 in a UK-based practice
  • Strong design and presentation skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of current UK building regulations
  • Proficiency in Revit (essential)
  • Good organisational and communication abilities
  • A proactive, team-focused mindset
