Your new role
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Site Manager will play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of civil engineering schemes. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong track record in managing maintenance, improvement, and major infrastructure projects-ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Duties:Lead the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring delivery of the programme and budget.
Interpret scheme drawings, Bills of Quantities (B.O. Qs), and documentation in line with NEC4 contract requirements.
Ensure compliance with NEC4 change control procedures, including early warnings and compensation events.
Uphold SHE standards to ensure the safety of yourself, the workforce, and the public.
Ensure full compliance with Chapter 8 and CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations.
Prepare and implement site-specific safety measures in line with company procedures.
Act as the main point of contact on site engaging with the council, the public, elected councillors, and parish councils.
Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Inspect works in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan and ensure alignment with design specifications and current standards.
Monitor and maintain high-quality workmanship across all site activities.
