We are seeking an experiencedBricklaying / Stone Laying Gangfor immediate start on ourclient development siteinTowcester, NN12 area.
This role offersseveral months of ongoing workwith flexibility on the start date.
Requirements:
- Experience in bricklaying and/or stone laying
- High-quality workmanship and finishing
- Full gang preferred
- CSCS cards essential
- Own tools and transport
- Reliability and good communication
Details:
- Project: Private residential build (5 houses total)
- Start: Immediate (flexible)
- Duration: Several months of work
- Hours: Full-time
- Rate: Negotiable, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out brick and stone laying to design specifications and drawings
- Construct walls, faades, and structural masonry elements
- Prepare foundations and set out layouts accurately
- Cut and shape bricks/stone as required
- Mix and apply mortar to required standards
- Maintain high site standards and quality control
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
- Communicate progress and issues to site lead
- Coordinate with other trades when necessary
