- Manage all building systems and services across the distribution centre.
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance to ensure optimal site performance.
- Lead site refurbishments and renovation projects, liaising with contractors and suppliers.
- Maintain Health & Safety compliance (including legal and environmental standards).
- Take ownership of internal MHE and FLT management systems.
- Supervise site security, cleaning, and waste management functions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in a warehouse environment.
- Manage maintenance and facilities budgets, identifying opportunities for cost saving.
- Support the operational team and remain flexible to occasional shift or weekend issues.
- Proven experience in facilities management, ideally within a warehouse or distribution centre.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Sound understanding of H&S practices – IOSH qualification highly desirable.
- Tech-savvy with excellent problem-solving ability.
- Holds a valid UK driving licence.
- Proactive, hands-on, and adaptable.
- Degree or qualification in Facilities or Property Management.
- Familiarity with CDM regulations.
- Budget management and supplier negotiation experience.
