Here at Impact we are recruiting for a local business to expand their on-site team of hands on Site Technicians. We are looking for people eager to learn and join a company with an opportunity to earn good money and receive on the job training to become a Site Technician.

As a Site Technician, you will be assembling and testing various products on commercial sites. You will be responsible for working with both electrical and mechanical parts to service existing and new installations. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working with your hands, and have a strong work ethic then this is an exciting opportunity for you!

Salary: 12.50 per hour

Location: Northampton

Hours: 6am - 2:00pm contracted hours (Monday-Friday) with plenty of overtime (paid door to door)

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside a trained site technician to learn the role.
  • Servicing mechanical and electrical components.
  • Installing new products on commercial sites around the UK.
  • Working with a range of tools / equipment.
  • Ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Perform thorough visual inspections and functional tests on completed products.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a hands on role.
  • MUST have a driving license (company vehicles used)
  • Electrical or Plumbing background is desired
  • A strong desire to learn and progress.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to stay away on occasions.
