Role OverviewAs Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports their business growth objectives. You will lead all aspects of marketing including strategy, budgeting, brand management, lead generation, digital marketing, product promotion, and market analysis. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a SME manufacturing environment and is excited to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and manage the marketing team and external agencies as needed.
- Build and strengthen the brand presence across all touchpoints (digital, print, trade shows, PR etc.).
- Oversee the creation of content for websites, campaigns, brochures, social media, and email marketing.
- Drive lead generation through digital channels including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
- Plan and manage product launches, promotions, and campaigns.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and insights.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics and provide regular reporting to the leadership team.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, and Operations to ensure marketing aligns with wider business goals.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, construction or other B2B environment.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution ability.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Ads, HubSpot, Mailchimp, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Comfortable working in an SME environment, proactive, adaptable, and resourceful.
