Preconstruction Manager - Heavy civils - East Midlands

This £120m turnover civil engineering contractor, with their head office based in north Northamptonshire, is looking to further cement it's position and continue growing UK wide.

They take on road schemes, bridges, rail civils work, stations, power stations plus significant packages on HS2.

To capitalise on their potential, they're looking for a Preconstruction Manager with a strong civil engineering background, whether that's tier one or tier two contractors. Someone who is very well connected with heavyweight civil engineering contractors and clients and can generate new business as well as oversee compelling bids all the way through to presentation.

It's an opportunity to join a contractor ready for it's next growth stage with a healthy balance sheet and a great reputation within it's markets.

Substantial remuneration package for the right individual, with basic salary in the region of £150k plus good incentives.

So, what are we looking for?

• Solid track record as a Preconstruction Manager working within the heavy UK civil engineering sector
• Strong contacts and reputation with clients and major contractors
• Demonstrable success at work winning within heavy civils
• At least 10 years in a similar role
• Someone who's happy to be based full-time in the Northamptonshire head office
