Business Development Executive - Field and office based Northampton Monday – Friday – 09:00 – 17:00Salary £28k-35k DOE + a generous commission structure ACS are proud to be working alongside a nationwide, transport logistics company, who are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join their sales team. Based out of their Northampton office, you will be required to generate new business and increase revenue, through office and field-based techniques. This an exciting time to join the business, with fast predicted growth on the way, this is a great opportunity to join a forward thinking and progressive transport business.Duties:
  • Building relationships with both new and existing customers through engaging sales techniques, expanding the company’s client base.
  • Conducting research, forecasting sales, and developing strategies to maximise success.
  • Managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Meeting with customers frequently to understand and address their needs and preferences.
  • Analysing competitors, their products, and marketing approaches to stay ahead in the market.
  • Representing the organisation in customer meetings and presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Experience:
  • Experience working in a Sales & Commercial Transport/Logistics environment is essential
  • Driving licence essential as you will be required to be out in the field. 
  • A great communicator with a confident telephone manner, clear, articulate, personable
  • Able to build rapport and build trust with business customers - delivering a successful sales pitch
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
