Location: Northampton
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 18:00 | Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
Salary: 37,000
Contract: Permanent
Duties:
- Set up, prepare, and operate CNC machinery for drilling, milling, and grinding.
- Load and prepare raw materials onto machines in accordance with job specifications.
- Record material usage and time spent on each job accurately.
- Carry out daily checks and routine maintenance on CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams on machine modifications.
- Support prototype and R&D projects by assisting with development parts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have a minimum of 3 years' CNC and manual machining experience.
- Be confident working to mechanical drawings and tight tolerances.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Be detail-oriented with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality.
