We are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Setter Operator to join a leading sheet metal company based in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term, stable position with full training and development available for the right candidate.

Location: Northampton

Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30pm-6:00am

Pay Rate: 14.00 - 16.00 per hour

Duties:

  • Setting and operating press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure finished parts meet specification
  • Adjusting machine settings for different materials, thicknesses, and designs
  • Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Logging production output and reporting any defects or non-conformances
  • Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets

The ideal candidate must:

  • Previous experience setting and operating press brake machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • A good understanding of sheet metal processes and materials
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • A proactive and reliable approach to work
  • Willingness to learn and develop with bespoke training provided
