The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a compassionate, experienced, and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our clients residential home in Nottingham. You’ll be working with young people aged 8–18 who may experience autism, learning disabilities, and emotional or behavioural challenges.

In this hands-on role, you’ll not only support the children and young people, but also lead and guide a dedicated team, helping them deliver high-quality care. The role includes weekend shifts, bank holidays, and regular sleep-ins as part of a rotating rota.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Deputy and Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service
  • Fostering a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment
  • Assisting in care planning and maintaining accurate records
  • Taking part in reviews and working collaboratively with professionals and families
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding standards and internal policies
  • Leading by example and clearly delegating tasks during shifts
  • Participating in daily routines and activities, from sports to creative projects
  • Safely administering medication and managing related documentation
  • Maintaining clear and professional communication through logs and reports
  • Being a positive, reliable role model for both colleagues and young people
