We are looking for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a primary school based in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils who need a little extra help to feel safe, valued, and ready to learn.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting children with emotional, social, or behavioural needs, both 1:1 and in small groups.

  • Helping children regulate their emotions and build positive relationships.

  • Assisting in lessons and encouraging engagement with learning.

  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to deliver individual behaviour plans.

  • Communicating effectively with families and other professionals.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Loves working with children and wants to make a difference.

  • Is calm under pressure, nurturing, and patient.

  • Understands the challenges some children face and can offer support with empathy and consistency.

  • Has experience in a school or childcare setting (experience with SEN or SEMH is a bonus).
