A primary school based in Northampton is looking for a Pastoral Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated pupil support team-someone who can build strong, trusting relationships and help pupils thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
Your Role Will Include:
Providing emotional and pastoral support to pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Supporting behaviour management and conflict resolution.
Encouraging positive attendance, punctuality, and engagement.
Liaising with parents, staff, and external agencies where appropriate.
Helping create a safe, inclusive environment where pupils feel heard and understood.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to support young people.
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is an advantage).
Patience, resilience, and the ability to manage sensitive or challenging situations.
