Your new companyHays Business Support are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to work for a public sector organisation based in Northampton on a full time basis. This role is a temporary position for a minimum of 6 months with the scope to extend. Your new roleOur client is currently recruiting for a skilled and proactive Temporary Personal Assistant (PA) to support their executive management team. In this role, you will provide high-level administrative support, manage schedules, and ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and managing calendars for executive team members
  • Arranging meetings and preparing necessary materials
  • Assisting with low-level event planning, such as booking team events/away days
  • Provide confidential administrative support to the Executive Team and the Board to enable the smooth running of the business.
  • To undertake project work on behalf of the Executive Team in support of his/her area of responsibility.
  • To provide secretarial support to the Executive Team and the Board. To attend and take comprehensive notes at HR Investigation Meetings and Disciplinaries

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and detail-orientated approach to work
  • Experience in low-level event planning (desirable)
  • Reliable, trustworthy and ability to work with confidential and sensitive data
  • Experience of supporting meetings, committees and/or Boards
