We’re working with a respected independent firm based in Northamptonshire who are looking for a Client Manager to join their expanding team. This is a firm that combines high-quality technical work with a culture that genuinely prioritises wellbeing - from mental health support and on-site gym access to team ski trips and early finishes on Fridays.

What the role looks like:You’ll be the first point of contact for a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, preparing accounts and tax returns to director review stage, and providing ongoing support and advice. You’ll also get involved with bookkeeping, VAT returns, billing and workflow management - with plenty of client contact and responsibility from day one.

This is a varied role where you’ll be trusted to manage your own time and encouraged to contribute ideas, improve processes, and help shape a positive team culture.

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • Experience managing a client portfolio within practice
  • Confident preparing accounts and tax returns for SMEs
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proactive, approachable, and commercially aware
  • Keen to be part of a collaborative, close-knit team
