Your new roleAs Senior Finance Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering financial leadership and strategic insight. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment and is passionate about driving performance through data and collaboration. Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and presenting monthly financial reports and analysis
Leading quarterly re-forecasting and annual budgeting cycles
Supporting financial improvement initiatives and performance modelling
Providing commercial and operational finance support to divisional and site teams
Ensuring accuracy in monthly accounts and analytical reporting
Collaborating with operational teams to identify financial performance drivers
Enhancing financial and customer reporting systems
Evaluating investment appraisals and challenging assumptions
Offering support and cover to the Divisional Finance Manager when needed

What you'll need to succeedWe're looking for a qualified accountant with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record in financial leadership. You'll bring a proactive, resilient approach and the ability to influence across multiple disciplines.You should have:

A full accounting qualification
Extensive experience in finance roles, ideally within waste, utilities, or manufacturing
Strong analytical and communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and TM1 Planning Analytics
The ability to work collaboratively and credibly with operational teams
